The 19th International Art Competition San Crispino took place in the premises of historical renaissance palace Vila Baruchello, in the Italian city of Porto Sant’Elpidio .
We are pleased to share with you that Frank Jalsovsky received for his artwork a special award:
PREMIO SPECIALE DELLA GIURIA
The goal of Discovery Fine Arts is to preserve the heritage of old Italian masters’ printmaking techniques - aquatint, mezzotint, dry point, etching and bring back to life printmaking to the Slovak art scene. For many, this type of art is still largely unknown.
Through lectures, participants will be able to get more familiar with the demanding process of creating artwork by these classical techniques, from preparing the plate to the final result - the finished artwork.
The first lectures met with a great interest, which encouraged us to continue providing them.

Kiev Pechersk Lavra, also known as the Kiev Monastery of the Caves, is a historic monastery located in the capital city of Ukraine - Kiev.
It was founded in 1051 by two hermits, Theodosius and Anthony of Kiev. Today, this representative complex is inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Summerfest
The guests of this year’s Summerfest, organized by the Slovak-Austrian Chamber of Commerce, had the opportunity to admire the artworks of Frank Jalsovsky, exhibited in the premises of the castle in Budmerice.
